The ocean has many stories to tell. Through MAX Photography, photographers and ocean enthusiasts are invited to capture those stories through images from underwater life and people whose lives are connected to the sea, to the many sides of the ocean that often go unnoticed.
As part of Marine Actions Expo (MAX) 2027, MAX Photography offers a space to see and appreciate the ocean from different perspectives through photography.

MAX Photography is a photography competition and showcase that celebrates the beauty, stories, people, and life connected to the ocean. It brings together photographers and ocean enthusiasts who see the sea not only as a place to explore, but also as a source of life, work, culture, and inspiration.
The photographs are not only about visual beauty, but also about the stories, moments, and perspectives behind each image. Through MAX Photography, every photograph has the opportunity to offer visitors a different way of seeing and experiencing the ocean.

HOW TO JOIN
Follow these steps to take part in MAX Photography.
1.REGISTER
Register through the official MAX Photography registration form.
2.PREPARE YOUR PHOTO
Choose your best photograph according to the selected category and submission requirements.
3.SUBMIT
Upload your photograph and complete the required information before the submission deadline.
4.SELECTION
All submitted photographs will go through a selection process based on the published requirements and judging criteria.
5.ANNOUNCEMENT
Selected works and winners will be announced through MAX's official channels.

PHOTO EXHIBITION
Selected photographs will be showcased as part of the MAX Photography Exhibition during Marine Actions Expo (MAX) 2027.
MAX visitors will have the opportunity to see different perspectives of the ocean through the photographers' work.

No. MAX Photography is open to anyone with a photograph and a story to share.
Yes. Underwater photographs are welcome, subject to the applicable category and submission requirements.
The maximum number of submissions will be stated in the official MAX Photography guidelines.
Editing is permitted subject to the category rules. Further details will be provided in the official competition guidelines.
Selected photographs will be displayed at the MAX Photography Exhibition during MAX 2027 at Kartika Expo Center, Balai Kartini, Jakarta.
